And that's the end of Episode 4!
It may seem odd to end it off here, but I have my reasons. Partially because this is page 50 and I wanted to end it off on page 50. Partially because this is the best drop-off point for this episode.
Anyway, now for the "state of the comic" thing I mentioned a few pages ago. Basically, I've lost a lot of motivation for this comic. I think that's fairly obvious by this point. But I also still have a lot I want to do with it, as evidenced by this cliffhanger. So no, the comic isn't ending any time soon, but I think it's time for a change.
Obviously, most of my creative efforts as of late have been focused on Super Minion Bros, art, and of course the upcoming Pokemon: Crisis Wish. But with this comic lingering in the background, it leaves me unmotivated to work on anything new as long as this is still around and needing to be updated fairly often. It's just how my brain works I guess.
So... where does that leave this comic? Well, someting major definitely has to change. Now, don't take that to mean it will never update again. That's definitely not the case. I've built up enough things that I don't want to go to waste by this point, and I have plenty of ideas for the future. It's just not easy to manage updating everything I have on my plate right now all at once.
So... the final conclusion I came to? Well, I'm sure most of you are familiar with Djoing. I bring him up because of the way he updates his projects as of late. He works on entire chapters at a time, and when they're finished, he posts them all within the course of two weeks, or a month, or however long it takes to get all the pages up, and then the updates stop for the comic to be worked on again until the next batch of updates are complete. And I personally think that's an excellent idea, and is the best option I currently have to keep this comic a consistent quality while still updating every now and then.
So to put that in more basic terms than the complicated mess of thoughts above...
Updates for Re:Kirby will halt for now. Most likely for several months at a time. But once I've made the entirety of Episode 5, doing so in any free time I have for it, it will be posted, one page every Tuesday and Friday, until the episode is complete, at which point I'll be working on Episode 6, and so on, so forth.
It's unfortunate that spriting has become such a chore for me that this project, which had a lot of passion behind it at the start, would come to this point, but it's just the way it has to be.
Anyway, if you'd like to check out my other projects in the meantime, check out the

Ciao for now!

The real question is how it got all the way to Hyrule in the first place
May 17th, 2016, 12:44 pm
Man, motivation is really a bad thing for comic authors. I got an overload of motivation for mine.
May 17th, 2016, 12:49 pm
: Motivation really is on and off with my comics.
May 17th, 2016, 12:52 pm
: Don't get this wrong. I have tons of motivation for my other projects. Just not this one because it's a sprite comic.
May 17th, 2016, 12:53 pm
: Ah. I see. I suppose interests in making certain styles and comics change as time goes on.
May 17th, 2016, 12:52 pm
where exactly did Kirby's ability go
May 17th, 2016, 12:56 pm
: You're questioning Kirby logic?
May 17th, 2016, 1:32 pm
Oh man, it really was in some way Mighty!
May 17th, 2016, 1:38 pm
: And now you know why I wasn't replying to you. lol

It seems the way of the classic sprite comic, at least for this part of Smack Jeeves, is starting to die off (except KDA, but that comic will go on for eternity), in some ways, it's kinda sad, but spriting is a crutch to creativity due to limitations...
Hey, as long as there's stuff for me to read, I'm happy.
May 17th, 2016, 3:52 pm
: Now, some new Kirby sprites comics are popping up. And I mean good ones.
May 17th, 2016, 6:40 pm
: I refuse to let sprites die, I'll keep making sprite comics.

Well this update plan seems pretty cool. Besides I only check on certain comics from time to time.
